Cobalt Coal Corp. Announces Name Change, Share Consolidation and New Trading Symbol

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - July 7, 2011) - Cobalt Coal Corp. ("Cobalt" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:CBT - News), announces that the Company has completed its previously announced share consolidation and name change to "Cobalt Coal Ltd." and effective July 8, 2011, the consolidated common shares will begin trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "CCF".

On June 29, 2011, the shareholders approved the consolidation of the capital of the Company on the basis of ten (10) old common shares for one (1) new common share and a name change to Cobalt Coal Ltd.
